Family day at the park

Today the weather is spectacular- sunny yet a bit of a March chill in the air. Cici and Aunt Heather came up from San Diego to attend Colin's last music class and after it was over, we made our way to the newly renovated Balboa Park. Colin was in heaven between the lake with geese and ducks to watch and the huge children's area... what a great day!

Lovin' the words

The sweetness never ends! Lately when I ask Colin a question or to do something (Colie, time to go have dinner...") his response regularly is "Ok, mama, sounds good mama". It cracks us up... so happy to oblige! P.S.- Happy 22 months my pumpkin pie!!

Valentines Fun

Last night we had a family valentines gathering... so nice and perfect! Morgan and I were able to have a date night Thursday so Valentines day we could spend with our littlest sweetie. Auntie Tay Tay (Tamara) got creative with the photos which made for some laughs!!

Colin is quite in to toasting...anything that is! Of course there is the typical clink of the glass (or sippy in his case), but he has taken it a step further with anything else matching. If we're both eating toast, it's a "Cheers" with our bite of toast, each holding a book, another clink. And the most recent is cheers-ing bellies! When he first made the request, we couldn't stop cracking up as he pulled his shirt up, and got ready to"bump bumps"!

Mu-gick class!

Colin is loving his new music and movement class on Saturday mornings, "Tiny Dancer". There really is nothing more precious than seeing him light up as we drive over, and even more so as he dances his heart out.
