Wedding Fun

This past weekend, we spent a magical 4 days in Breckenridge, Colorado for Auntie Tay Tay and Uncle Steve's wedding. Everything went off without a hitch and the day couldn't have been more beautiful... wonderfully intimate group of guests, amazing setting and equally incredible back drop of snow capped mountains and a light dusting of snowflakes as the gorgeous bride walked down the aisle. It was a fairy tale wedding as Morgan noted! And our little ring bearer did an amazing job with no hiccups (despite the worry that he may not pull it off after a 30 minute tantrum to get his tuxedo on)... All in all, it was perfect!!Colin getting his hair done

Party Time!

23 months

Happy 23 months to my sweet Colie-Bear. We are again eagerly planning his birthday party and I am in shock that he has been our baby for almost 2 years now. There is no way to ever describe the joy he brings... and how blessed we are that we have such a precious little boy. Over the past few weeks he has grown incredibly- especially when it comes to his vocabulary. He really communicates and I can garner the story he is trying to convey most times. Last weekend, Morgan took him to San Diego and he again told me tales of his Sea World, Zoo and beach adventures. These days, when asked a question, he is quick to say "no" - - but one look from mama and his fierce determination of "No" melts into "no thank you" with a smile. He is a great sharer- saying "for daddy" when he wants to share and offering bites of everything he eats. Every day when I come home from work, I'm greeted with a huge smile, and a shout of MAMA! It makes my day. Happy 23 months my sweetheart!! xoxo

Irish Lads

I can only claim Irish by marriage, but my boys- well they're pretty darn Irish in the blood! We had fun celebrating their heritage last night... at a MEXICAN restaurant. Yes, my husband may be technically Irish, but if you look at his preferences in food, music, culture- well it's fitting where we ended up last night! :)Kiss me I'm Irish!

Family day at the park

Today the weather is spectacular- sunny yet a bit of a March chill in the air. Cici and Aunt Heather came up from San Diego to attend Colin's last music class and after it was over, we made our way to the newly renovated Balboa Park. Colin was in heaven between the lake with geese and ducks to watch and the huge children's area... what a great day!
