Off to Tuscany!

Easter morning (this Sunday), we are off to Italy. I have totalled our flight time to be a little over 14 hours of flying time. GULP! I'm not sure if we're just very adventurous or plain ole stupid, but either way this will be a chapter to write about. I'm hopeful all of our snacks and toys and books and songs will be enough to keep our little wiggly worm content. I did learn that we very well may be able to sit in the bulkhead where they attach a bassinet- perfect for the overnight portion. I'm sure once we arrive Pisa, it will be wonderful... Wish us luck!!!

My Buddy & Me!

Denyelle, Tom and Hudson were in town for Hudson's 1st birthday this past weekend. It was a sight to see to watch the boys play together... so darn adorable. In addition to playing with the toys, they played follow the leader around the coffee table. They were fast friends by the end and Hudson even went in for a kiss and Colin, a nuzzle (think Headbutt!) for Hudson. Precious!

Say Cheese!

It's official... Colin's 3rd tooth- his upper left popped through yesterday. The poor baby has been tugging on his mouth in pain so I'm so glad Mr. tooth emerged. And about 3-4 other top teeth are right behind #3. Despite a little added fussiness, he is still just the happiest baby and always ready to laugh and smile.

Swinging high!

I was finally able to get this video posted- a favorite from our trip to Oregon a few weeks ago. This is Colin's first time in a baby swing at Lithia Park and his face says it all...sheer delight mixed with a tiny bit of uncertainty. I think parks will be our new weekend activity!

My first Laker Game!

Sunday, we ventured to Staples Center to watch the Lakers take on the Mavericks. What a fun day! Our friends Joe and Jenny and their baby daughter (5 months) Siena, joined us. Sadly, Siena was on the young side so upon the first roar of the crowd, she burst into tears so spent most of the game in the lobby. At 10 months, Colin could handle the noise better and was quite taken with all the chanting, people in purple with cheer toys and all the chaos. Talk about over stimulation! But he loved it and thanks to Joe and Jenny, the babies had matching jerseys to show their team spirit!
